Get Happy!

March 20th is International Day of Happiness so in honor of this special day, here are 20 things you can do right now (or whenever) to get and stay happy:
Perform a random act of kindness for someone who needs a boost.
Take a walk outside and enjoy the natural beauty of the world around you.
Listen to music that makes you want to dance.
Watch your favorite movie.
Call someone you have not spoken to in a while and reconnect.
Play a game from your childhood.
Write a love letter.
Cook your favorite meal and share it with a friend.
Hang out with your pet.
Take a nap in the middle of the day.
Volunteer your time and talents to someone in need.
Write down everything you are grateful for and appreciate your blessings.
Make a list of anything that won’t be around this time next year then stop worrying about them.
Buy yourself a coloring book and color like it’s 1999.
Paint a sidewalk chalk masterpiece.
Get 15 minutes of sunshine.
Take a ride on a swing.
Go roller skating.
Chase a sunset and see where it ends.
Hula hoop with the kids or by yourself.
Bonus: Let go of past hurts, misunderstandings, and all former mishaps. Forgive yourself and others.
